- Played some LOTRO. Got to farm out one of the new instances a few times.
- Found a great minecraft server. It has RPG mods in it. You gain levels in your class, and profession, and give you a whole list of new skills you can use.
- Downloaded Age of Mushu today didn’t work.
- Logged into Lineage 2 for a while to look at stuff. Especially not to look at power panties on elves.

TERA wants you to power level!
- Tera is a free to play, action based fantasy mmo.
- The company En Masse has created a “No Sleep ‘Til 60!” promotion that rewards brand-new players who log in and power-level to the endgame.
- The promotion begins March 12th till 26th.
- Players will accumulate rewards that increase the higher they get.
- The prizes include strongbox keys, XP boosts, reputation boosts, mirrored shades, mounts, and an extra character slot.

Pathfinder shows screenshots of early development

- Pathfinder is a pen and paper rpg that was created after Dungeons & Dragons version 3.5 was dropped for a new rule system.
- Players were not happy with the new rules *they never are :P* and some of the developers left Wizards of the Coast to continue the 3.5 rules in a new format.
- The game is becoming very popular and players have been asking for a MMO.
- A kickstarter is being raised and the game is planned to have something out by next year.
- The pictures show some character models and some areas.

Raptr shares RIFT promotion numbers
- Trion looked for ways to revitalize RIFT’s player base last year around Christmas time.
- Partnering with Raptr, Trion came up with a four-tier reward system that gave players everything from a free copy of the game to in-game ranks, mounts, and gear.
- The free copy of RIFT was accompanied by a month of game-time and served as the first reward.
- The other tiers were aimed toward veteran-type players.
- All the rewards were available from mid-November to the end of January.
- RIFT’s daily active players on Raptr increased 470% over the length of the promotion, and average daily playtime jumped up from four hours a day to just over six.
Brad McQuaid returns to Everquest

- Brad was the producer of everquest and was thought to be a very influential person in the mmo world. “Joss Weadon of MMOs? Hehehe”
- Sony picked up everquest and made him Vice President of Premier Games
- He left Sony and started a new company with a new game called Vanguard.
- The game had plenty of issues and didn’t do very well.
- Sony came to buy that IP and he left the company.
- He was later rehired to work on Vanguard after the game was changed to free to play.
- He is now back on the Everquest team.
Age of Conan uses google ads to advertise?
- I looked in my gmail today and sorting thru all the love letters, and I seen this add.
- Age of Conan is Now Free – www.ageofconan.com – Master Trade skills. Build Cities. Epic Warfare. Free to Play MMORPG!
- Refreshing a few times to see if it would change and it did. Mostly a spell checker website. However Age of Conan came up over and over again.
- I expected to see The Secret World in the ads but they never came up. Only one MMO kept appearing. Age of Conan.
- Google ads are normally set up for someone to click on and when they do, google pays you a small amount for it.
- Is Conan doing that bad? Or is this just something all MMOs do?

- This Korea only game is in open beta right now.
- No plans of this game coming the the USA.
- However its worth mentioning because there are plenty of Power Ranger fans that would love to see the show as a MMO. ENJOY!

- Blade & Soul is a martial arts mmo that is free to play in Korea.
- NCsoft will be releasing the game once it is converted over to a western gameplay style.
- That includes changing the gameplay as well as translating everything to other languages.
- No date on when the game will be released yet.

I’ve been listening to your various podcasts for the past few months to and from work. Very entertaining and informative. I’ve given quite a few MMOs a chance (for better or worse) that I’ve heard of on your podcasts due to the variety of games you cover. I also enjoy the game specific MMOs as they delve deeper into those individual games. I noticed Harry was a fan of Eve Online however, no Eve Reporter? Haha hard to keep the clean tag with that game I suppose, just have to put my fanboy two cents in. Thanks for the quality content, keep them coming!
